Terms and Conditions

By booking a tour, trek, or travel package with Nomad In Peru, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and a smooth travel experience for all our clients.

1. Reservations and Deposits

To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This payment secures your spot on the selected tour or trek. The remaining balance must be paid one or two days before the start of the service in Cusco, either in cash (USD or PEN) or by the same method used for the deposit.

2. Payment Methods

Payments can be made via PayPal, VISA, or bank transfer. Please note that international transaction fees or PayPal service charges are the responsibility of the client.

3. Confirmation

Once we receive your deposit and booking form, you will receive a confirmation email with your tour details and instructions for the briefing. Please verify that all information (dates, names, and passport numbers) is correct.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

All deposits are non-refundable, as they are used to purchase tickets, permits, and other necessary arrangements in advance.

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure: No refund of deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: The total cost of the tour will be charged.

In some cases, Nomad In Peru may offer the option to reschedule or transfer your booking to another date or traveler, depending on availability and supplier policies.

5. Changes to the Itinerary

Nomad In Peru reserves the right to modify the itinerary in cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, strikes, political instability, or conditions beyond our control. These changes will always prioritize the safety and well-being of our travelers.

6. Travel Documents

All travelers must carry a valid passport and ensure that the information provided matches the one used during booking. Passport numbers are required for the purchase of tickets and entry permits to Machu Picchu and other archaeological sites.

7. Health and Fitness

Certain tours and treks, such as the Inca Trail or Ausangate, require a good physical condition. Clients are responsible for assessing their fitness level before booking. Nomad In Peru is not responsible for any health issues that arise during the trip due to pre-existing conditions or altitude sickness.

8. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, accidents, and loss of belongings.

9. Responsibility and Liability

Nomad In Peru acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, trains, transport, etc.). While we ensure that all our partners meet high standards of quality and safety, Nomad In Peru cannot be held responsible for delays, injuries, loss of personal items, or events beyond our control.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. These policies are governed by the laws of Peru.
