ITINERARY

DAY 1: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Today marks a truly unforgettable experience—the long-awaited moment to explore the majestic Machu Picchu has arrived. Nestled high in the Andes and surrounded by mystical cloud forests, this ancient Inca citadel promises a journey like no other.

Your adventure begins early with a 4:00 a.m. hotel pickup in Cusco. From there, we’ll travel approximately 1.5 hours through the Sacred Valley to the Ollantaytambo train station. You’ll then board a scenic train (~1h40) bound for Aguas Calientes, winding alongside the Urubamba River and passing lush green peaks and mist-covered landscapes.

Without delay, a 30-minute bus ride will take you up the winding mountain road to the entrance of this iconic site. Upon arrival, embark on a private guided tour (~3 hours). Discover the mystery and magic of Machu Picchu as you walk through its temples, agricultural terraces, ceremonial plazas, and sacred fountains.

You’ll explore Circuit 1 or 2, designed to provide a full immersion into the site’s history, architecture, and spiritual legacy. After the guided experience, enjoy free time to capture stunning photos, revisit your favorite corners, or simply soak in the energy of the Andes.

Enhance Your Adventure with Optional Hikes: For those seeking a more thrilling challenge, opt for an additional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (advance booking required, $75 USD per person). These add-ons offer unparalleled views and a sense of achievement few can claim.

After your visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the many local restaurants. At 4:30 p.m., board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transfer will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
